Timberline Earthworks is a family-owned excavation and earthwork company serving Chaffee, Park, and Lake County mountain communities.

Owner and operator, David Porter brings a unique background to excavation, with years of experience in custom homebuilding and fine woodworking in Mammoth Lakes, California. Working in high-end mountain construction developed a strong appreciation for craftsmanship, precision, and the importance of doing things right.

That experience continues to shape the way Timberline approaches excavation today. After transitioning full-time into excavation and earthwork, David combined his construction knowledge with hands-on field experience to specialize in mountain property improvements, road work, grading, retaining walls, drainage, and site preparation.

Timberline is also supported by Gina Porter, who helps lead the business side of operations and works closely with clients throughout the project process. From client communication, scheduling, and contracts to marketing, project coordination, and field operations, Gina helps ensure projects stay organized and clients feel informed from start to finish. She also enjoys being involved in the field and operating equipment on select projects.
